Yuki Tsuda

Yuki joined Assegaf Hamzah & Partners in February 2013, having earlier served with one of Japan’s largest law firms, Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, for more than eight years as a corporate associate in the M&A team, where he was involved in a long list of Japanese domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and other general corporate matters. During his time with NO&T, he was seconded to another top-flight Jakarta law firm for one year.

Through his participation in a wide range of matters in Indonesia involving Japanese clients, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience of Indonesian law and practice in relation to mergers & acquisition, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, distribution, franchising, employment, dispute resolution, real estate, infrastructure and construction, intellectual property, finance, financial regulatory, insolvency, anticorruption, competition, and other general corporate and compliance issues.

With his unique position of having a deep knowledge and experience of both Japanese and Indonesian law and practice, combined with incisive analysis of legal and business issues, and spirit of dedication to clients, he has obtained the trust of a significant number of clients in various business sectors.
